Homemade Baby Food
This weekend, I made some homemade baby food for Sam, sweet potatoes. I really want to feed him as much homemade food instead of store bought. Just take a look. Doesn't this look brighter than anything in a jar? We are going to start him on solids after he hits 6 months (which is just next week). Can you believe that he is already almost 6 months old?!?
I also mashed up a banana and put it into the ice cube tray as well. Doesn't it look good?
By the way, we had our first snow today. It only snowed for a little bit and it didn't stick. Maybe some more will come down before Sam goes to bed so that we can have some land on his hand.

Swimming- Last Sunday
Last Sunday, Brian's parents came out to watch Sam during one of his swimming classes. I think we gave them a good show.
Since Sam was chewing on it, I thought that I would try it too.
See, they were there.

Children's Museum, Buckeye Game and Taste of Colorado
Busy Weekend
With the first Buckeye game being held on Labor Day weekend I was guessing that there weren’t going to be a whole lot of people and we could find a seat easily. Boy, was I wrong. It was packed and loud. We only went into the entrance, took a picture and got out of there.
The Taste of Colorado was going on downtown too, so we stopped by.
Can I have some bling, Daddy?
On Labor Day we took Sam to the Denver Children's Museum for the first time. He seemed to have fun, but he was a little too young to appreciate all of it. Click on the link at the bottom of this post to see Sam play around with a mobile.

How My Life Has Changed During the Past 8 Years
Tuesday, September, 11, 2001
I had accepted my first FT job in Denver (moved out here in April 2001) the Friday before (09/07/01) and my first day of work was the next Monday (09/17/01). I started that job, as scheduled, and was employed for 34 calendar days before being laid off. I don't blame them at all-- Last In, First Out.
After that, I came within 3 weeks of depleting my savings and having to move back to OH.
I never thought that I would ever get married and I definitely didn't want any children.

Today, I have been married to the most wonderful man for the last 3 years, I have a healthy, beautiful son (5 months old) and my job is going well.
I cannot imagine my life without my family. I love you both!!

Cloth Diaper Review- SmartiPants
As many people know, I LOVE my cloth diapers. I found a website that was interested in reviews about the cloth diapers that you like/dislike. I'm a huge fan of SmartiPants so I thought that I would leave a review.
Since I did leave a review, I am in the running to win the cloth diaper of my choice, which would definitely be SmartiPants.
Yea!!
