I have heard about the Sophie the Giraffe Teether for quite some time. It's all the rage and now I have ordered it. I ordered it from Amazon.com at an 18% discount-- I just couldn't pay the $20 full price for a teether.
If you have never heard of it, check it out.

Sam: Week 29
The following activity and attachment includes suggestions on what you should be doing with your child at different ages to stimulate their development and where they are developmentally. Of course, the every child is different in their development.
Do it again, mommy
Baby loves repetition, so go with the flow. Sing his favorite song over and over, play "This Little Piggy," or pull out a jack-in-the-box -- whatever makes him smile and laugh. Being able to play and understand hide-and-seek-style games makes baby feel smart and encourages his developing sense of independence.

Squishy Tushy
Squishy Tushy is hosting a FuzziBunz One Size giveaway. I just need to write something on the internet about them.
My only experience with Squishy Tushy is the cute Monkey Doodlez Swim Diaper that I purchased for his swim classes.
I am in love with this diaper and it helps reduce the amount of disposables that we would have thrown out during the 6 week class. Thanks to Gwen for telling me about these diapers.

One More First
Sam decided to fall asleep on his tummy for the first time last night. I kept waking up to check that he was okay, but he was totally fine.

Sam's Firsts
I know that I said that I would post pictures of Sam within the last couple of days, but Brian has been working overtime and I haven't had time to upload pictures from the camera to our computer. I promise that I will before the end of next weekend.
In the mean time, Sam has completed a few more "firsts." These firsts all occurred on Saturday and Sunday.
1. First time eating peas
2. First swim class completed
3. First time he held his bottle all by himself
4. First time in a hospital. A relative is in the ICU. We hope that she gets better soon.
5. First pumpkin festival
6. First ride in a jogging stroller
We have pictures of the first two and the fifth, but I don't think that we have any of the third, forth or sixth.
