I always forget that there are a large number of blogs that I read that schedule recipes on Mondays that are free of meat (Meatless Monday). today, accidentally, I am actually participating in it for dinner tonight.

Unless Brian decided to have something else, our entire family is going meatless tonight.

Toy Project

Note: This is just an example.
While I was home with Sam yesterday, I decided to go through his toys to see if there was anything that could be removed completely that he had outgrown.

In looking through the toy baskets in the family room and living room, there weren't a lot of things that could be fully removed.

My Poor Sweet Little Boy

is home sick today. Boo Hoo!!

It looks like he is going to be out sick again tomorrow. Brian and I have to decide which one of us will be staying home with him. He definitely has more paid time off (over 5 week- around 25-30 days total) while I'm "The MOM" and I only have 2 weeks vacation and 5 sick days (15 days total). This isn't his first bout of sickness this year (mine either- we were both out for 2 days each last month which I took off).

I'm guessing it will be me taking tomorrow off, but you never know.

Please wish my son's virus to go into hibernation for the Winter/Spring and not come back until 2012 (at least). Thanks!

Short Work Day

The president of our company is closing the office at noon today:
in recognition of the historic news announced yesterday. We are very proud of our military and of what they have accomplished in seeking justice for our country.

There are a few errand that I need to do before I get to pick up Mr. Monster Man from daycare, but I will get to hang out with him a couple of extra hours today. I wish that Brian had the same time off.

Have a great Monday!
