Glove Compartment- Before & After

When I sold my old car and purchased my new 2011 Ford Edge, I didn't take the time to go through my glove compartment (who actually does). I just pulled everything out and shoved it in the new one.

Finally, I was sick of having a bunch of papers in it (probably from 5+ years ago) and not being able to even find a pen.

It took a whole 6 minutes to go through everything, sort out what I needed to keep and toss or shred the rest.

Everything Dumped in a Bag

My First Fall Mantel

Since we've moved in (in April), our mantel was covered with photos in frames. Thank goodness I never took a picture. Then I went to Crate & Barrel and had some hurricanes shipped to our house.

They arrived yesterday and I replaced the photos with them.

Pretty bland, I know. My family and I went to Target and I invaded the $1 bins and found some great items to fill them.

Until after Thanksgiving, I think this will do well.

Albuquerque Balloon Festival Photos- Finally

We headed south out of Denver on Friday night, September 30th to spend 1 day in Albuquerque for the Balloon Festival.

I know what you are thinking "That's a 6.5 hour drive for just 1 day???" It's was totally worth it.

Even though we didn't get to sleep until 2am and had to get up at 5:30am to get on a bus to the event, we had a ton of fun.  Just look for yourself.

There were tons of people in line for the buses.

If you ever have a chance to attend the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, DO IT. We will definitely do it again, maybe not next year, but definitely in the next few years. Next time, we will definitely take at least a few extra days so that we can sleep. :)

Wordless Wednesday- A Fall Tradition

This post isn't really going to be "Wordless," but it will be full of photos that I took of my son and our neighbor kids having fun in the leaves.

And just being all around silly!
